I am in sunny Las Vegas at the annual BlogPaws conference, and I have a really fun job this year. Throughout the conference, I will be creating Contemporary Custom Digital Pet Portraits for 40 lucky conference participants!
Are you at BlogPaws? if so, register for the random drawing and you maybe chosen to receive a BZTAT PAWtrait of your pet! If your pet is with you at the conference, I will take a photo to use for the portrait. If you left your pet at home, that is OK. As long as you have a suitable electronic image that I can use, you can also have a PAWtrait!
Visit the BlogPaws booth in the Exhibition Hall to register. You must be present as a BlogPaws participant to be eligible.
I believe that the guitar is one of the most beautiful creations – it resonates in my soul with a musical as well as visual aesthetic.
I love guitar music, whether it is the subtle and soft tones of a new age artist or the raunchy and loud chords from a grunge or hard rock musician.
My favorite guitarist, however, and perhaps my favorite musician of all time, is William Ackerman. His “Bricklayer’s Beautiful Daughter” is the most beautiful piece of music I have ever heard.
Sadly, my love of the guitar has not translated into any talent for the instrument. I tried. I only learned from my attempts at guitar lessons to appreciate those who have a true gift for the instrument. My gifts lie elsewhere.
Yesterday on my Facebook Fan Page I posed the question, “What should I create for tomorrow?” I had a unique response that gave me a challenge. The request was for me to create a moose image.
So today’s artwork is a moose!
I have never seen an actual moose, so it is sort of a mythical creature for me. I have seen photos and videos of them, ambling across roadways and landscapes.
Since I had to resort to stock photos taken by others for the inspiration for this image, I chose to go with an iconic one – the image on “Moose Crossing” signs. I created the image digitally with various apps and filters. It was a fun sort of process.
Some artworks will be new, and some will be works from previous auctions that did not sell for one reason or another. Here are the details for today’s artworks:
