What’s the best way to enjoy a margarita?

Most likely, the best way would be to enjoy it on a tropical island beach with a loved one or with friends around. We can’t all have that when we want it, though, can we?

The next best thing would be to bring the beach to your home and hang it on the wall. You can do just that with this colorful and contemporary ode to Margaritaville!

3 Tantalizing Martinis You Can’t Resist!

I am most known for painting animals, but on occasion, I like to step out our my norm and paint something else.

Since starting my Eat, Drink and Create! social painting events, I have been enjoying the blend of visual art and cocktails. Most people enjoy a nice cocktail now and then, so I thought I would paint a series of paintings focused on celebration and fun.

I started with martinis, as they are all the rage these days. Truthfully, I am not a big martini drinker myself, but I do enjoy how there are so many creative ways to make them. And the image of a martini glass is really intriguing to me.

I have created 3 martini glass paintings so far, and I am putting them here on the blog for your view. I would love to see them go to good homes, so for a limited time, I am going to let you suggest a price that you would like to pay* for the one (or more!) that you like. Bunny Art is a better gift than a live bunny. Seriously.

Every year, bunnies and baby chicks are marketed to the general public as pets to be given as Easter gifts. It is sad, because most people are not well equipped to keep them as pets. More often than not, these creatures end up in small hutches and cages, and they live a lonely and miserable existence, if they remain alive at all.

If you have the desire to give someone a bunny for Easter, please reconsider. The live animals are certainly cute, but they deserve to live in a humane and interactive environment. Perhaps an artwork that is enduring and in no way harms a live creature would be a better gift. 🙂

Regardless of faith, Spring is a time to celebrate new life and new beginnings. My hope is that your Spring is full of great promise and celebration!
