I used to do art auctions quite often, but I haven’t done any in awhile. Since I will be moving soon, I thought now might be a good time to get some artworks out onto someone else’s walls so I won’t have to physically move them to my new place. I am going to start off with an auction of two paintings today.

The first is the one that you see on the right. It is a colorful contemporary folk art style painting of a cat in the grass. It is painted on wood with a faux frame painted as part of the image, so no framing is needed.

The second painting in the auction is the “City Poodle” painting that you see to the left. It, too, is a colorful contemporary folk art style painting on wood with a faux frame painted as part of the image, this one of a very urban pup.

Spring Cleaning – Ha! Like Spring is ever going to get here…

Spring keeps taunting me, like a feral cat staring at me from a distance, unwilling to let me take it into my grasp. I think Spring is finally here, and then another cold, miserable snowy day appears.

Well, I am going to celebrate Spring, whether the weather changes or not. It is time to do some Spring Cleaning and time to get some of these paintings hanging on my walls onto someone else’s walls.

I am in a bargaining mood and I am willing to allow my friends and fans a special opportunity. I am not going to mark things down. I am not going to offer a certain discount. It's another Hippie Peace Pup!

Keeping with my theme of “Hippie Peace Pets” I painted another Peace Pup. I went a little crazy with textures on this one, using Scribbles fabric paint to put squiggly lines on it. it is hard to capture in a photograph, but there is glitter on it as well. I hope you like it!
