Today’s “Drawing a Day” – Howling at the Moon

For an artistic challenge, I am making a drawing every day in November. Each drawing will be placed for auction on here on my blog. These drawings will be fun images that will make nice gifts for the upcoming holidays. I have done “Drawing a Day” projects before, and they have been a lot of fun!

May Minis – The Original

Today’s May Mini is one of my favorite images to draw – a tuxie cat. I call it “The Original” because the cat depicted is the original Beezie, a cat that I had for 19 of the best years of my life. I called her Beezie Tat, and eventually, I started signing her name on my paintings as BZTAT.

This a smaller drawing than I usually draw. It is approximately 3″ x 5″ and matted for a 5″ x 7″ frame. I decided for the month of May, I am going to draw some miniature drawings and post them for auction. This is my second “May Mini”.
