Congratulations, Madison and her staff, Cindy, winners of the “Who’s your Favorite Furball?” contest in honor of today, National Hairball Awareness Day. Madison will receive a FURminator DeShedding Tool, courtesy of FURminator, Inc. to keep her coat beautiful and hairballs to a minimum.

“My favorite furball’s name is Madison. As you can see maintaining a spotless supermodel body and fur coat are hard work for the average Tabby. Madison takes her grooming incredibly seriously as she must look purrfect at all times. You never know when In Style or Vogue are going to call and she is always ready for her next close up.

However, as you can imagine nothing looks worse than a supermodel choking on yesterday’s hair. It just is not very ladylike and it makes you so embarrassed!

Madison says, ‘I want the FURminator as that is the ultimate in grooming accessories and I would love to have my people use it on me every single day (when they are not fixing my dinner or scooping my box)‘ “

Hairball Tips and Last Day to Enter Contest!

Nobody hates hairballs more than the Brew, and I especially hate the GOOP that mom gives me when I have them! So I am more than happy to support my animal charity fundraiser friend, Romeo the Cat, and FURminator, Inc. in the “Who’s your Favorite Furball?” contest to honor of National Hairball Awareness Day, Friday April 24!

The winner will receive a free FURminator deShedding Tool and will also see their favorite, funniest, furriest furball featured on www.PeoplePets.com and popular pet blogs across the Internet.

Entering is easy!

2. Submit your favorite, funniest, furriest furball photo (cats only, please!) via email to romeo@romeothecat.com and tell him how winning a FURminator deShedding Tool will change your life (and your furball’s life!). Make sure to include the following information:

• Your Favorite Furball’s name
• How winning a FURminator deShedding Tool will change your life (and your furball’s life!)
• Your name
• Your email address
• What name you used with your FirstGiving donation

3, Entries must be submitted by 9 p.m. EST Thursday, April 23, 2009.

5. The winner will be selected via a random drawing.
