I asked a few friends to help me get the word out that I was doing a paint-a-thon: 12 hrs. of painting artworks that were auctioned off on Twitter thereafter.

They came out to help in a big way. Thanks so much to the tweeters and Facebook-ers and bloggers for getting the word out! The auction netted $565 dollars!

The proceeds will help in allaying some of the costs of running an art studio, and a portion will go to Romeo the Cat‘s FurPower charity.
