I often draw inspiration from friends’ pets, especially dogs. I love dogs, but I do not have any of my own, so it is a thrill for me to see photos of my friends’ dogs on Facebook and Twitter.

The dog who inspired this drawing is a very special pooch. I not only see photos of him and his other doggie pals, I often see pictures of where he has been. His human, Dee, often entertains by showing the remains of various toys, pillows, furniture, etc. that he has destroyed on social media sites.

He looks quite handsome and innocent here, but looks can be deceiving. Do you have a pooch like him?
