Tonight begins the holiday shopping season in the Canton Arts District with First Friday! Following this week, the next two Fridays in December are Canton Shop Hops, which are special openings and events at downtown galleries, studios, and other venues in the district.

We hope that you will consider visiting all the galleries and studios in downtown Canton, including BZTAT’s Art Adventures Studios, to purchase holiday gifts for the people on your list. Does someone you know want art under their tree this Christmas? There are many special and unique gifts to be found in downtown! Come explore and enjoy the art and music that abounds!

Of special interest this month are two new studios in the district. Creative Juices Communications and Zephyr Wind Art is having its Grand Opening at 337 Cleveland Ave., N.W., and Anderson Creative has moved to a new location at 331/333 Cleveland Ave. We welcome them to the neighborhood!

Also tonight, Art Adventures Studios is hosting a special showing at the Canton Club atop of the Chase building at 101 Market Avenue, South. See works by BZTAT, Robert Baker, Dr. Dreg, Kelli Swan, Marcie Axelband and Robert Dubec in this special exhibit.

As always there is lots of music and fun planned for this First Friday, making it well worth coming out in the cold to see great art and entertainment. Second April Galerie and Studios has gone all out for the holidays, as has the Ohio Arts and Crafts Guild! Come visit us and enjoy all the fun as you buy cool stuff for holiday gifts!
