Godly Dogs -“So Many Stories to Tell” Art Challenge

Dog is God spelled backwards drawing by Artist BZTAT

For an artistic challenge, I am making a series of drawings throughout the month of January, each telling a story, or capturing a moment that has been part of my story. I am calling this my “So Many Stories to Tell” Art Challenge.

For today’s drawing, I decided to make a drawing for my “dog people” friends.

Although I am more of a “cat person” in sharing my home with pets, I love dogs too. I grew up with a doberman and some dachshunds in addition to cats in my childhood home. And I have befriended many of my friends’ dogs over the years.

So the irony of interchanged letters that put the words “Dog” and “God” in close proximity is not lost on me.

Dogs are cheerful companions who offer unconditional love at every juncture. They smile, they wag their tails, and they share their enthusiasm for being a part of your life at every turn.

What’s not to love about dogs?

Each of my “So Many Stories to Tell” Art Challenge drawings will be placed for auction here on my blog.  You can follow each day’s drawing by by subscribing to my my blog or by following my posts on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.
