November 1-7 is National Animal Shelter Appreciation Week, sponsored by the Humane Society of the United States. My furry Friend Romeo the Cat has teamed up with Big Paw Designs and Peoplepets.com to encourage everyone to celebrate our local rescues and shelters and let them know how much we love and appreciate all they do! Romeo is encouraging everyone to do something for their local shelter this week, and he is featuring a different act of kindness each day on his.

Since this week has First Friday in it, the Canton Art’s District‘s monthly art party, I decided to invite the Friends of Stark Pound (FOSB) to come down and join me in the studio this Friday. The great folks of FOSB will be there with information about adoptable pets and other important items. They also are planning to bring a couple of dogs, one of which will be my doggie pal Lexi Lou, who is featured in the picture above.
